Foundation of the company Risse + Wilke at Oeger Straße 8 located in Hagen-Hohenlimburg by Wilhelm Wilke and Eduard Risse Reconstruction of production after the end of the Second World War by Wilhelm Wilke, the son of the company founder. Early death of company director Wilhelm Wilke. Karl Halverscheid and Lore Wilke take over the management of the company. Acquisition of the Schröder company in Hagen; continued as "Wilke GmbH" within the group. Takeover of the cold rolling division of Hoesch Hohenlimburg GmbH and gradual integration of production at Oeger Strasse into the new main plant in Iserlohn. Start of the gradual relocation and later closure of the founding production site in Hohenlimburg to the current plant in Iserlohn Stenglingsen. Commissioning of third Ebner quenching and tempering line for continuous heat treatment of steel strip for saws Commissioning of new Danieli Fröhling re-rolling stand. Acquisition of hardening plant Hugo Schmitz in Hagen-Hohenlimburg; Acquisition of GBS in Desenzano/Italy, an exporter of stone gang saw blades to China. Commissioning of a new reversing stand for the pre-rolling of strip steel from Andritz Sundwig. Having survived the global coronavirus crisis, the company is now stable and successful in the marketplace, with a new public image.1920
